CCIE Service Provider考试主题已作出小幅修改，更新至v4.1版。这项修改包括笔试和实验考试启用统一版的考纲，并明确地对罗列出考纲中修改的内容，以及每项考试主题所占的比重。

此次考试主题变化的内容占整个考纲的10%。考试主题的高频、小幅更改反应了思科对认证考试快速更新的策略，以应对不断演进的新技术。

整体的考试主题初看可能有些不同，相对于考试v4.0来说，考试v4.1的整体（技术）修改内容仅占10%。保持高频、小幅及增量式的小幅修订方式是最终目标。

v4.0版笔试及实验考试的最后考试时间为2017年6月21日，自2017年6月22日起，考生必须参加v4.1版笔试及实验考试。

考试格式

CCIE Service Provider考试格式没有变化。CCIE Service Provider笔试编号（400-201）保持不变，实验考试格式也没有变化并持续由三个模块组成：故障排除，诊断，以及配置模块。
